2nd year Brownie Leader here. We are down to 8 girls this year, but the girls still did pretty good.
We always save some $$ for next year. And we also have an annual troop Mother-Daughter event (held around Mother's Day) that the girls plan. This year we are going to a pottery place and then a pizza party at a restaurant near by.
Last year we had a lunch at American Girl Place. And as Daisies we had a luncheon at the chruch we used to meet in. The luncheon was really nice. The girl's made place settings and we made paper flower (quilling) centerpeices. We had lots of tea sandwiches, salads, desserts, ice tea, punch. The girls sang a few songs and we had a scrapbook of all our events and meetings. We also had a raffle of small prizes for the moms.
Our girls always choose to do something with their moms. And most of my girls are NOT interested in camping!!
