OT: What shoe size does your 18mo daughter wear? THX

I found these beautiful sandals which I want to buy ahead. Trying to decide what size to get. THX

It's really impossible to know what shoe size a child will be wearing in the future. None of my 3 boys wore the same sizes at the same ages. I have a friend whose daughter is the same age (well 6 weeks younger) than my middle son and her shoe size is 2 sizes bigger than my son's.

My 15 month old has a size 6 shoe, but I'm told that her feet are big!

You just have to guess! What size is she wearing now? Is she big, small or average for her age?

My dd is small for her age (usually around 5th percentile) so she always wears smaller sizes than people think and it always seemed to take forever for her feet to get into the next size. She is now 3 years and 3 months and has just recently moved into a size 6 shoe. Fall 2004 she was going from a 4 to a 5.

I would probably take what size they are wearing now and add one size to it, unless you think they will grow a lot between now and then. Most kids don't grow much between one and two I think. Even less between two and three.

Good luck! (You could always buy more than one size to cover your bases then give the too small pair to someone as a gift or donate it.)

PS: To make things even more confusing - different brands will be different. I have to get one size bigger with the Keds brand for her. However my Keds are the same size as anything else I wear. Go figure...

My DD is 10 months and she is a little big for her age bc she fits into 18mo pants. She outgrows her current size 1-2months before she is supposed to. I think she will be a shoe size 5.5 to 6 by next July I think.
