OT - Webkinz problems?

Is anyone else having technical issues with the Webkinz website, the past few days? We are not able to get to the gem hunt (just keeps saying it's loading). Also, everytime we play a game & earn cash, it doesn't go into the account total. Anyone else having these problems?

Haven't had those specific problems but have had others including inability to log in, furniture going missing til log in again, etc. Not sure what's happening. Also, for the last 3 webkinzs DS has adopted, they havent been given rooms and we had to buy them... is this normal now? He always received a room for the others....

There updating the curio shop. According to ganz it should be fixed by tomorrow.

I have been having this problem since last weekend just about every time I try to long in for some hourly events I can't get in so i have missed some really good events as well as being put out while in the middle of arcade games.

I feel like everytime lately since xmas when my kids log in , they can't and says unavailable.. but my neighbor says they haven't had any problems so I don't know if it is our computer or the site?!

YES!!!!! My daughter will log on, play for about a half hour, log off, and try to log on an hour later and can't.

Sometimes when she is on, she can't play certain games. I actually thought it was our computer!! Maybe there's too many kids on the website at the same time.--overload???

I couldnt get into the curio shop either. I read on a Webkinz board that going in and clearing your temporary internet files on your computer would fix it. I tried it and it worked! I have no idea why. But I can get back into see Artie now.

I think Webkinz are great - my youngest kiddo's reading improved GREATLY because they HAD to learn how to read what was going on in order to play. I like it when they play the math games too.

Well I was just finally able to go into the Curio Shop & do the daily gem mining. However, I'm still not receiving any money for the arcade games. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day!
BTW, is anyone else "addicted" to their child's webkinz???
I'm addicted to it almost as much as I'm addicted to the Dis!

What it says right now for the arcade problem is you are actually getting the money- just not until you log out & then back in. And the problem should be fixed early Monday morning.

For the PP who said her son is not getting rooms anymore when he gets new animals....do you have over 10? I think once you get 10 animals they stop giving you the rooms???

(Can you tell I am also addicted to my DD's webkin? I know I play more than she does.)

Oh Thank God...we just got our first webkinz here and I thought I was going crazy. I did notice that if I logged off and logged back in, my arcade total went up but didn't go up as I was playing (for DD's benefit of course!!!). I also couldnt get into the "daily activities" the other day...just kept saying "loading"

Okay, I am so glad that there are people on here admitting the obsession. Both my DD and DS tell me that I am "playing" too much on their Webkinz. My DS actually got mad at me this afternoon when he came home because I had gone gem hunting already... pretty sick when I am logging on Webkinz after the kids have gone to bed!
