Such an outstanding woman and such a very kind soul.

How much pain does her and Christopher's son have to bear?

Everyone please say a prayer for the Reeve family today.

American Lung Association

I will be making a small donation in her memory and I hope others will too.

That is so sad. Please note that she was not a smoker and she had lung cancer.

Prayers to the family. Such a heartbreak.

Yes she was diagnosed on Aug 10 2005 so it has only been 6 months.....and only 1 and half years since Chris lost his battle.

hug your friends and family today....life is so fragile.

I was just talking about this with my mom. When Dana Reeves was diagnosed, she seemed so sure she would beat it. She went into that fight with everything she had. She was a strong and graceful lady and I hope that people continue to honor this remarkable family for years to come.

Such sad news... thanks for letting us know. I admire her a lot.

My thougtht and prayers go out to their kids..

i am so sorry for her, i heard about this... i will pray

may god watch over her

they discussed this on the radio this morning and my first thoughts and their subsequent discussion was for their 13yo son-

How sad- for him- and I pray for him to have strength through all this- poor baby...

I remember thinking he was so remarkable after seeing him on Oprah -following his father's death- but I think before his mother's diagnosis...

This is one of those things that cause you to question, why?

No answers I suppose.

And yes- hug your family- forget the small stuff you fight about- it doesn't really matter- in the big picture of things

OMG, this is truly horrible news. I am so sad. The Reeve family has been through so much pain. My thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Such sad news. She was a strong remarkable woman under the most difficult of circumstances. My prayers to their family and specially their son.

My heart goes out to this family, especially their son. The Reeves seemed like a close, tightknit couple despite all the hardship in their lives. I really admire their courage.

Mal, I think it's a wonderful idea to make a donation in her honor - I have done the same through the American Cancer Society.

Here is a picture of Dana, and her son, in happier days... :sad1:

Yes I was sad to see this today on the news. She was a remarkable women and no one can say enough about her. She never even smoked!

A day in life is to be treasured for none know what tomorrow may bring!

My thoughts are with her Son today. As he has a difficult road ahead of him. May he have the strength and courage he needs to get through, yet another loss.

Cami that is a awesome picture you posted of the two of them!

By making a donation, more research can be done to hopefully one day finding a cure...Thank You for that wonderful suggestion!

I also heard about this first thing this morning. I remember when she was diagnosed, hioping she woul dbe able to win the battle. So sad and my thoughts and pryaers go out to their enitre family. The only thing that keeps me from tears is picturing her being able to be with Chris again, and I choose to picture them doing something fantastic, like running thorugh a field or along the beach together again.

Dana Reeve cartoon in the Hartford Courant.

Englehart, who usually posts cartoons that are often in poor taste drew a beautiful cartoon in today's Hartford Courant. Dana Reeve is being carried to Heaven in the arms of Superman. It was simple but beautiful. Perhaps someone with more ambition than me can find it and post it.
