OT - Totally OT actually

For those who have seen me mention in my posts that DH was expecting to be out of a job again in September, we had good news last week. He was told that their department would be asked to stay another year to 15 months. The offer isn't on the table yet, so they don't know what kind of incentive will be offered to get them to stay the full length of time. (Last year it was a significant percentage of his salary - even though he doesn't make much - so he felt he couldn't leave.)

I can't tell you what a relief this is for us!

So thanks for all your kind words and good thoughts in the past! They've really been appreciated!

Evidently, at least one of my sisters was out of the room when I mentioned this at Father's Day dinner. I'm sooooo sorry mssocks dear!

I'm still trying to get my photos off my computer so I can re-format the dumb thing. Unfortunately the network is out of the question (don't want to spread the virus) and my system has no floppy drive. (DH said I didn't need one since we're all networked....but what do men know! ) I have almost 5GB of pix stored on my system and am transferring them with a dinky little 256MB jump drive. I'll be at it for weeks!

I guess I shouldn't admit that I went to ACMoore to take advantage of their 40% off sale on Sizzix dies. Of course they didn't have the ones I wanted (the small [green] person & clothes) but that didn't stop me from getting a couple ayway.
