We're heading to a play at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts next Sunday. I don't know anything about the TTC or GO Transit. We're coming from London and don't want to drive/park downtown.
Now, it looks like my best bet would be to park at the Yorkdale TTC lot and take the subway to the Osgoode station. Are there any Torontonians who could confirm that this is the best way for us to get there? Thanks. :)

Well, Osgoode is definitely the right station to get off - it is literally underneath the Four Seasons Centre. And, Yorkdale is easily accessible from the 401. So, I would say that your idea makes a lot of sense. I cannot think of any better ideas, but perhaps others might.

How many people are you traveling with? On Sundays, you can get a TTC day pass that is good for up to two adults and four children (or 1 adult and 5 children). It is $10 which is the equivalent of 4 adult tokens (or just over 3 adult cash fares) so it would likely be cost effective for you (depending on the make up of your group).

Thanks for your help. We are 5 adults. I don't even know how to buy tokens. LOL!

Perfect number of adults for token buying (assuming you are just going there and back and assuming that none of you are 65 years or older).

At the Yorkdale subway station, you can buy tokens from the the agent at the ticket booth. You can buy 10 tokens for $25.00 (so, it is $2.50 per ride). Don't buy them from the machine - the machines sells either 1, 4, or 8 which doesn't work out well for your group.

LOL ... actually there are only 4 of us, and one of them is definitely over 65 (and no, Nancy's not the one that's a senior, but apparently her mind is going just a bit right now!) :rotfl:

So 4 adults, so we could buy 2 of those "day pass" thingys and our total fare would be $20. :goodvibes

Thanks!

Downtown traffic on Sunday is light and you can probably find parking between $5-10 (Green P Parking at City Hall is right across street from Four Seasons).
