OT: Should I go to my local Bell World store & ask about a problem with my charger

Latley I have noticed when I charge my cell phone on my phone charger, 2 minutes later the light turns from red - to green. However I know that it should not be charged that fast based on how many battery bars I have left on my phone & how long I had it on for. I never had this problem before & I know this has nothing to do with my phone because I can still make calls, recieve them, get voicemail, text messages & etc. My phone still charges but I find myself having to force the phone in so the red light comes on. Anyway what are your thoughts?

if it's still under some sort of warrenty... go for it.

If not I wouldn't bother. As long as it's still charging your phone, you can just ignore the light. As i know they'd charge you up the ying-yang for a repair or a replacement.

But if it's actually making charging difficult then it's something i'd look into.

My phone is no longer under warrenty, but if I had to purchase a new charger I would not mind until they can tell me what the problem is. Latley it has been kind of hard charging it because, sometimes I have had to force my phone in to make sure the red light stays on. In the past I just slid it in with no problems. Plus sometimes I have to look at my charger for like 5 minutes or so, to make sure it does not turn green right away signalling it has been charged. I mean I don't want to leave the room, come back an hour later or so to see the green light & not realize it charged for less then 5 minutes, because the next day my battery will die even more.

Oh.. now I understand. I thought it was just the light wasn't working properly. I had that once, that the light would go green, but if you looked at my phone it still said charging, and then I would just look at the phone for the fully charged picture.

If it's making charging a pain, i'd look into it for sure. You can even look on bells website to find out how much a new charger will cost and do some comparison shopping.

I would prefer to get a new charger, unless I am told something different like it could be my battery. However if it was my battery then I would not be able to keep my phone on for long periods of time, make calls & recieve them & all the other stuff I do with my phone. Plus my charger is one where it slides into a device & not one where you plug a cord into the phone, where the other part of pluged into the wall. So it's not like I can purchase the least expensive phone charger that is being sold today, my phone comes with a specific one.

It may be cheaper to upgrade your phone, thats what happened to us last year.

Even if I could I would not upgrade my phone because I love it that much. Plus I can not upgrade until the end of August 2007 when my contract is up.

I wonder why you can't upgrade while you're still on contract... you think they'd want your money?

What happens if your PHONE were to break, wouldn't they have to let you get a new one?

I bought a Razr in May through Bell. I hesitantly bought the extended warranty. AM I ever glad I did now. The warranty covers free shipping if it breaks down and gives me a replacement phone while it is being repaired. I have just sent it in for the second time after having it home for one week after being repaired. My phone was not charging or holding a charge and they had to replace the entire charging system. This time the phone will not even turn on. It was well worth the extra money since I have had the phone only 5 months.

I know last Febraury I had a problem with my phone where the screen went all white. I was still able to make & recieve calls, however since my phone was still under warrenty, they fixed it for free & gave me a loaner phone. Now I assume there would be a cost if this were to happen again.

I also have wondered why we can't get upgrade while we were still under contract, because I wanted my camera phone for my August 2005 trip to WDW. However I had to wait until the end of the month to get it & I told them that I would pay the fee to get out of contract with the phone I had at the time.

Here's a silly question... how do I know if my phone is still under warranty?
