OT - reviews for Crayola Digital Light Designer?

Wondering if anyone has purchased the Crayola Digital Light Designer...and played with it yet? I picked one up today at Walmart....but it's a bit pricey at $44.95.


I am having the hardest time finding gifts for my DD10 for Christmas. Her wish list (a couple of board games, a Wii game, a DS game...and Skylanders for the Wii) was all fullfilled by her aunts/uncles/grandma's......so now I am trying to come up with some ideas for Santa and Mom/Dad. I went to Justice for Girls and bought some doo-dads (diary and smelly pens).....a pair of PJ's....but I just cannot think of anything else! She does not play with dolls or barbies (She got an American Girl last year....and it is still in the box....virtually untouched!) Bought her several books as she loves to read....plus some American Girl puzzle books/quiz books.....but that is it. She loves to do crafts.....write her own stories....if anyone has any ideas I would love some suggestions!! Thanks!!

My youngest (almost 10) wants one but I am not sure about it. Her birthday is January 12th so I am hoping to find it on sale after Christmas if she still wants it then.
