OT-Postcard from North Carolina....not coming home, wish you where here

Hi All ~ Killing time before my nieces wedding....

I love North Carolina....

I don't want to go home....

Starting to brain-plan a road trip back here, Myrtle Beach and Disney for the summer....

I'm loving the heat....

Yesterday went swimming, sunned by the pool, BURNT my bode, now feel like a french fry and look really funny....

Where are you staying in NC? Beaches, mountains?

We've stayed in Greenboro, Winston-Salem, Statesville, Mount Airy & Atlantic Beach.

Shot a story back in 1997 for HNIC when the Carolina Hurricanes were playing in Greensboro while their permanent arena was being built in Raleigh. It was the end of November and I was able to wear shorts the whole time there. Locals were complaining how cold it was at night 10C/50F. That week-end the Hurricanes were playing the LA Kings and there was a big turn out to see Wayne Gretzky.

Enjoy your stay! The weather is nice here, but North Carolina is pretty cool, especially if you're by the beach.

We are near Raleigh for a wedding. It's lovely here. TREES! TREES! TREES! But have a good GPS and a map becauses the TREES hide everything....

We are flying home today, but we'd like to return soon. DH's brother lives in NC, so we have a big beautiful house to stay in.
