OT: Pirate & Princess Birthday Party

We're having a P&PP for DS's 4th birthday in June. Some friends of mine have agreed to dress up as pirates and princesses, but I'm thinking of hiring a couple of kids from the local high school (or even university) to play Cinderella and Jack Sparrow.

I don't imagine they already have set rates, so what would you suggest I pay them for two hours. I'll provide the costumes and hair/make-up (I work as a part-time stylist and have an amazing seamstress!!). My friends have already agreed to work for food.

So, what would you charge or what would you pay?

We're setting it up like a carnival. There will be a few games and stations around the hall (we're renting a wedding reception site), and the kids will all get a treasure bag to collect their prizes. That will also serve as their party favors. We'll have a mini-BBB and pirate tattoo shop. We'll also set up two photo op spots.

If anyone has any more ideas, I'd love to hear 'em!

I don't normally bump, but I can't believe no one has an opinion on payment. It's the DIS! Everyone has an opinion!!

For a 2 hour party I would pay probably $100 per actor.
But, I have to admit that I've dressed up as a princess (at a restaurant! where work colleagues saw me!) for free for my niece.
I'm not sure what the going rate is.
But, for that price I'd expect interaction with the kids.

There's a local business that does parties at around $200 a party. They send a princess, and she has activities and stories, etc. I just want the characters for photo ops, mostly. However, the princesses on that web site look awful!! The dresses look like the cheapy Halloween costumes, and the wigs are horrid!
