Hi All ~ I made a website to sell a service. How do I use paypal as payment for my service? I do have a paypal acct for ebay stuff. Thanks, Sandra

I've had clients pay via paypal but they have gone into their accounts and from there sent funds to my email address - that directs the funds into my paypal account. I'm not sure how to simplify this or if there is another way to set up on a web page. You may want to ask on the Budget board as there seem to be a lot of savvy ebay and paypal users there.

You continue to use the same paypal email account. If you need you can also add another email address for you business transaction and it'll still fund your same account.
You can send invoices to clients under "request money" (you can also save templetes for invoices there too).

Under merchant tools you can download the "paypal" logo to attach to your website.

Just so you know, should someone pay your through their bank account (debit) you will have to wait up to 5 days for the payment to clear their bank before it is credited to your paypal account.

Hope that helps

Wendy

See the website I do for the Tidewater Hokie Club for some examples of what you can do. Click on the paypal buttons on the site and see what you can do.

You just go to the paypal page and set up the buttons to place on your site.

In Paypal, there are instructions on how to do this on your website whether you're using a shopping cart or not.

I have a website and it uses a free shopping cart and Paypal is one of the forms of payment. The shopping cart is actually designed to take Paypal. I'm assuming you want it automated so you don't have to send invoices.

Take a look at the Paypal site and if you're in the market for a free shopping cart, google "Mal's ecommerce" and you'll find a very nice shopping cart.
