Was just on a conference call with folks from Michigan and Ottawa, when my screen started to sway.. felt a little tremble.

I live in a new development, and thought it was heavy equipment going by when a person from Hamilton mentioned that his whole house was shaking.. person from ottawa and Detroit also felt it!

Anyone else notice this?

I totally felt it in southern Ontario. My oil candles started jiggling and I felt my chair shake. If I had been drinking alcohol.........I would have thought I had too much to drink! I wonder how far away the earthquake was felt?

Our office building was shaking here in Kingston... have read reports about the same in Toronto.

It was an earthquake. They say it was a 5.5 earthquake on the Ontario/Quebec border. I actually feel like I have motion sickness. I haven't felt this way on a DIsney Cruise!

I didn't feel it at all here in the burbs outside Toronto but my son, upstairs, did.

I work at The State Campus in Albany, New York. I felt my desk area gently swaying at about 1:44. I thought it was just ME feeling a bit dizzy.
My co-worker, Jim, said out loud: "Anybody feel that?" I knew it must have been an earthquake because these decorative prisms hanging up in my cubicle were swaying. It was more of a swaying feeling, not a shaking feeling. Now, everybody is talking about it, here.

I was in the La Senza store at College Square in Ottawa when it happened. The store is under renovation and it shook really hard. Eveyone at the mall ran outside. Construction workers who were outside said the buildings swayed and the bricks were like rippling.

They are inspecting the Algonquin College new building that is under construction and the workers are all outside on the street.

We got home and the pictures on the walls are all crooked and one half fell down. It felt like it was never going to stop. This was scary.

I work in downtown Ottawa and I seriously thought the building was going to fall down around me. We were evacuated and then given 10min to go inside to get our belongings and our vehicle if it was parked onsite. Told to return tomorrow.

We got a good thump here in southern Georgian Bay. Best way I can describe it, started as a trembling and then a straong thump with a sound. Very wierd. My brother-in-law works in Ottawa and says his building shook very hard and they were evacuated.

Felt it in Brantford... our chandelier swung, and I've got a couple Mickey bobbleheads and they were all nodding like crazy! :)

Wierd! I never felt a thing in my basement office at the Mississauga/Oakville border!

I work in a warehouse in St. Catharines. I work at a desk off by myself and I felt a sensation under my feet and then my computer scanner and bottle of water started shaking. No one else in the building seemed to have felt it, but there are always tow motors etc going by so maybe that's why. I honestly thought that the heat was getting to me. LOL.
