OT OMG! when you go through clothes season to season

DD lost her new iPod touch. She knew she had it at school last and there is a big problem with them being stolen these days. Well that was in February. Today, I was going through winter clothes and getting out summer clothes. I have bags and bags to give to Good Will. I went into the closet to get rid of all the old jackets that were not worn last winter. I take out one of her old ones I kept from the previous year and decided since she didn't wear it this year, it going in the bag. As I go to fold it, I feel something, I go in the pocket, it's her iPod!!! Guess she wore it once this winter LOL.

I had to wake her to tell her, I couldn't wait LOL! She was in shock and said "oh! I love my life"

We were pretty upset when she lost it, it was her bday present and VERY expensive. She was told NOT to bring it to school. She didn't until her old one died, then she did.
Big DUH! Tough lesson to learn, but natural consequences are best, if it got stolen in school, then she would be without. She says she can't be without music on the bus LOL. It was soooo awesome when she started using her old old old portable CD player kids were like "what is THAT???"

So she learned her lesson, being without it for 3 months and learning how important it is to take care of these things. She was really missing it learned we were not replacing it.

BUT man, I learned one too, check the pockets of the clothes your sticking in a bag to give away. I almost packed it away and would never knew I was given away her iPod whew!

I just found a $20 when I put on a pair of shorts for the first time this season... I guess there is a benifit to have to switch out clothes.. You never know what you are going to find
