I had posted about how to get DD(2yrs and almost 5mos) back in her own room and in her own bed. Well, I am happy to say, that she now loves sleeping in her bedroom and actually leads me into her room at bedtime for stories and cuddle time. I guess the twin size bed was a big factor.
Now we are potty training and she is doing really well. She actually started this herself. Since we were working on the sleeping in her own BR, I was waiting a few weeks to throw PT at her.
Well, one day last week she decided that the diaper was bothering her and we just let her walk around naked all day. Since not having the diaper on, she took it upon herself to go in and sit on her potty and do her business. She has had a couple of accidents since she started (the one day that Grandmom and PopPop were visiting...she didn't feel that it was necessary to go potty, just stood right were she was and did her business).
Big question is this...when do we introduce the night time potty breaks? So far at night I have put a diaper on her. As soon as she wakes up, the diaper comes off (she takes it off) and the panties go on. I am afraid that she won't wake up to go potty. How do you know when is the right time? Is now the right time? I don't want her to get discouraged about potty training, she is so proud of herself each time she goes potty and we make sure that she knows how proud we are of her.
Any advice on the night time potty rituals would be appreciated.
