OT- Music at California Adventures Park

We spent on magical day last March at Disneyland/California Adventures. Does anyone know the name of the song being played at the park. It included the lyric....."I love LA"? The played California Dreaming and some others. Would love to know who else remembers the songs.

We were there in March last year too, I definately remember the songs, but buggered if I can remember any of the names... Beach Boys - Californian Girls was playing... Really any song about California...

I don't remember hearing the song "I Love LA", but if that was a lyric and then there's a chorus saying "we love it!" after, over and over, that's Randy Newman (did the score for a couple Pixar films along with his annoying and offensive "Short People (got no reason)" song, grrrrrrr).

As bumbershoot mentioned (and beat me to it), "I Love LA" by Randy Newman. One of my favorite songs and I still remember the old MTV video in 1983 when it was released. It's on my iPod and gets played frequently. We've heard it quite a bit in DCA as well.

I love the music they play in DCA! "I wish they all could be california girls!" It's just so fun and energetic. Gotta love california dreamin' while it's pouring rain on you Hmm...also play route 66 dont they? Grr I wish I could remember what they play! I will come back if I do!

I highly doubt they'll play these songs once the whole Sunshine Plaza is torn down. I'll miss the music so much!

Dont tell me that The music makes that place! Since it's still called disney's california adventure I see no reason to completely change the playlist. I would expect more songs added but I hope they dont get rid of them all!

No, don't cry! lol. I really do love the playlist, but think of how weird it will be w/ the 20's style facades and the song "Surfin' USA" playing off the speakers.
I was really sad when HPB changed their playlist. I actually used to know what songs would come next.
