OT: Moving to Texas (Houston area) Need good school Dist for aspie DS10.

My DH is being transferred to the Houston area and I need info on good school districts (and schools themselves) for my DS10. He's an Aspie and already has an IEP here in IL. I don't even know where to start looking! Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone transferred midyear with an IEP? Help!!

Check out the Katy, Texas area. It is on the west side of Houston. WONDERFUL school district! We lived there for seven years and the Katy Independent School District is awesome. My DD attended special education preschool there and they were the best! I highly recommend that school district and the area is just lovely!

Where in Houston will he be located? Houston is huge and you could easily have a 2+ hour commute if you don't locate strategically!
