We are planning on taking the kids to Marineland at the end of May and was just wondering if anyone knows of any discounts available for day or seasons passes?

The adult one day price is $36.95 per person and then for an extra $5 you can upgrade to a seasons pass (which we will do since it is only an extra $5).

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not a big fan of Marineland I find it pretty costly for what you actually get to do. It's not like Seaworld. I think it depends on the ages of your kids if they are under the age of 5 it's ok. I think the Toronto Zoo is much better and Canada's Wonderland you get more for your money at both places.

I can't agree more. But we have already taken the kids to Wonderland and the Toronto Zoo. Also we are going to be at www.sherkston.com for 4 nights (May 27-31) and Marineland being so close we thought we would take them there. We were at Sherkston last summer and promised to take them to Marineland then but didn't (since we were having WAY too much fun at Sherkston).

DS4 will be no charge so that is good . Therefore, we will have to pay for 2 adults and 1 child (DD8).
We thought we would pay the extra $5 and get the seasons pass and come back at least once to make it worth our while, but I agree the value isn't there.

Its tough, we have already promised the kids Sherkston Shores, now DH may be going on strike May 22 (strike vote was yes today) but we can't cancel this now and let them down. Sometimes I think I had better go and get a job!!!! Being Dutch, DH is in a huge panic that there may be a period of days/months that he will have no income. There will be no strike pay also since DH will not picket.
Maybe I should have bought a lottery ticket for last night. Wasn't it 22.5 million???? :rotfl:
Sorry I got totally off topic. Just thinking out loud!

Suzy, I don't think anyone won the jackpot last night. I notice signs today that said next Friday's draw is 25 million. That's good, since I could use the extra 2½ million to pay for the kids university! ;)

Make sure you take them over to Clifton Hill it's pretty cool. Kinda Carnival like. I would go if you don't have to pay for the little one's ticket to Marineland that is...Some kids like it more than others. I know about the whole stricke thing. It's kinda lurking around this household too my DH is with OPSEU and they have requested a mandatory meeting in TO next Sat for the local presidents. It seems Dalton has forgotten his promise to rebuild public services. The union has been negotiating for months and not gotten anywhere. We had a strike 3yrs ago and they were "lockout" (he works in a detention centre for young offenders) for 8wks. Well I wish your husband all the best maybe just by saying they have a strong strike vote they'll convince management to have a fair contract. I know the managers at DH work are not wanting this to happen either. Gotta Go and Happy Mother's Day!! Kat
