Disney has been running some pretty neat character theme ads for the 2004 marathon.
Blaine has a half page color ad that features a treasure chect, crossed swords, running shoes a la pirate, and a MM finisher's medallian among the treasure.
The wording: "Yo ho Yo ho A runners life for me".
Now -- How is the best way to copy this ad? We have a scanner, We aren't very scanner adept and I am thinking enlarging this would blur it.
I think enlarging this and transferring to make a banner (outdoor) flag would be great.
Any suggestions?

You can try enlarging it on a copier. You would need to find one that could get it as large as you wanted it in a single pass. This may be difficult as most commercial places will not duplicate copyrighted material.

I know with some scanning software you could enlarge something as much as 400% (4 times the width and/or hieght). The problem would be printiing it as most home printers can only go to about 9" in width. You would have to print it in peices and tape/glue it together.

An opaque projector could project the image on to a large piece of paper and yoou could then trace/draw it on it and then even paint it.

Hope this helps.
