Can anyone reccomend a good moderately priced hotel(around $100) near Pearson airport that has a shuttle to the airport. We are flying to Grand Cayman in May and coming from Thunder Bay the night before. We fly out at 9am so I want something close by but reasonably priced.

It has been my experience that $100.00 for a room near Pearson is hard to come by ~ especially with parking added. There is a Best Western that is about $99.00 and includes 7 days parking and one night's stay. I have stayed here before and was not all that impressed, however, if all you are looking for is a place to sleep then this might be okay for you!

I have also stayed at the Four Points Sheraton and I think the rate is about $130.00 per night with 8 days parking included. This was much nicer and cleaner!!

I am sure others will be able to give you more suggestions but I hope this will get you started!! :thumbsup2

try the Hilton, very nice...it might be a little over $100 that you're looking for though.
Also the Holiday Inn Express is nice and comfortable

Try the Holiday Inn or the Carlingview which both usually have reasonable park n fly rates. Last summer they were both priced around $119 with up to 2 weeks parking.

We usually stay at the Carlingview, they have a shuttle and you can leave your car.

I got a corner room at the Hilton for 99.00$ with travelzoo deal 2 weeks ago. Don't know if it's still available but worth looking into.

Do a search for Park, Sleep and Fly Toronto....there are some good deals in some nice hotels and it INCLUDES parking. We were going to do this on our last trip to Disney but then found out we couldn't bring our little ones on the shuttle without car seats so we had to find another option (we live near Toronto).

Have a great trip!

Thanks everyone for the reccomendations and actually I don't need a place to park since we are flying in from Thunder Bay the night before - that would be a long drive almost 20 hours from Thunder bay to Toronto.

Ha ha ha that will teach me for speeding through posts...Thunder Bay, minor detail! the Park sleep and fly will also let you search for deals without the parking part. They seem to be nicer hotels for fairly good prices. With a flight time of 9, you shouldn't have to worry about the airport shuttles not running or anything eithe...most of them run by around 6 am I think.

Have a great trip!

Ive been staying there on a service call in Mississauga for the past 4 nights,(writing this post from there :surfweb: )
the room when booked online came to $89.53 per night and both rooms Ive had are recently renovated ,first and 3rd floors, they offer shuttle service to Pearson as well but if you choose this hotel be sure to CONFIRM your shuttle as from what I can see thats the bulk of their business and the front desk can be very busy at times.Locally just back over the 401 on Dixie theres a Montana's and Kelsies, and the usual fare of restaurants a few blocks further south so cab fare would be minimal. Also the the Four Points was recomended by the shop im working from, reasonable rates and slightly nicer rooms around $110 possibly and not much further north on Dixie either.

I have a rate there for $119/nt which includes 14 days of parking. It is very close to the airport and has a shuttle that runs every 30 minutes/24 hrs.
There is also another Four Points Sheraton on Dixie Road but the Airport Rd is the closest.
If you don't need parking there was also a CAA rate of $105.

Just out of curiosity where did find the $99 price? Im going to end up in that area again on service calls before summer and for an extra $10 a night how could you go wrong?

I actually booked it through my SIL's travel agent. It was Robert Q Travel out of London. Her name is Tracy. I beleive you can find them on the web.

That is a great price. I realize you have already booked, but for future reference, the Comfort Hotel Airport North is a good bet too. Usually under $100 per night and not a bad hotel (good shuttle service too).:)
