I hope this is ok to post:). I am visiting Paris in July and staying with a family that has 3 teenage boys, their father, and grandmother. Can someone who lives in France give me some ideas on gifts to bring them? I am traveling alone so I cannot bring anything heavy. The boys are 17, 13, and 10.

I was thinking about bringing some American candy such as Hershey Kisses, Nerds, maybe some Oreos. The oldest boy is 17 and I was going to bring him a Hard Rock Cafe "New York" shirt.

I saw a post on Tripadvisor that Maple Candy is a good choice to bring? I was thinking that for the grandmother. But I would still like to get her something else.

Their dad - I have no clue!

I really need some ideas and would appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks so much.

I don't think you can go wrong with candy, chocolate, or anything from your area that you can't get in France.

Awe, I was hoping for more ideas. Well, bumping up - just in case :)

How about something related to American sports - American football, baseball, basket ball

What about a sports jersey of your local team for the Father? Or a shot glass?? Or a baseball cap?? Might be a fun gift :-)

I would go for American gifts but maybe not candy/chocolate. Maybe stickers, magnets etc from your area? Touristy things that someone would buy if they visited your town?
