OT Looking for best rental car price at Las Vegas airport

We fly into LAS Sept 16. Will spend the next 10 days touring northern Arizona (including 3 days at the Grand Canyon) and southern Utah. I've been told we will need an SUV for the terrain. The prices I'm getting seem ridiculous!
