I'm looking for some advice...
My daughter's hockey team is travelling to Chicago by bus for a tournament in a couple of weeks. I'll be accompanying her. Once we're in Chicago, there's a very strong possibility that I may remain behind for a trade show and meetings which start the day we are scheduled to return to Canada. I'm a little leery of sending her back on the bus unaccompanied (by a parent) across the border. The remainder of her teammates will be on the bus as will a busload of parents whom I trust implicitly.
She has her own passport. Other than the illogical fear of a parent that there may be difficulties at the border, can anyone see any issues with this scenario?
Thanks in advance.
