OT: JamesLynn and No Land Are Moving! Edit: We're Home!

Nolan and I are in the process of getting our apartment all packed up. We're nearly done. Yay!
We just thought that we would let our wonderful DIS and VMK friends know that we are going to be AFK from the DIS and VMK for quite a few days.
Tomorrow our internet here will be disconnected and we will be packing up a UHaul with the help of my wonderful parents, who we will be living with.
One of us should be able to pop on here or VMK to let you all know that we're safely moved as soon as we can. My parents do have internet, but sadly it's dial-up.


Edit: We arrived home safely on Saturday. We have everything unloaded and unpacked. We're pretty much settled into our new bedroom. Now, we've begun job hunting.

Dial-up is no good for vmk; you'll be frustrated with it. Perhaps your parents can be induced to get AT&T Yahoo DSL for $12.99/month. It is a one year contract. We switched to this a few months ago and are very pleased with the speed. http://promo.yahoo.com/broadband/

How about a wireless card? Verizon has been advertising in California for $49.99 and Cigular has one for $59.99. I have used a card and it's great because you can get the internet anywhere you want.
