I just recently found these at Hallmark and fell in love! DH got me a nurse Minnie for Mother's Day since I'm in nursing school and I just celebrated a birthday over the weekend which quadrupled my collection:thumbsup2

So I'm quickly running out of space on my desk for them and was wondering where and how everyone displays them. They're way to big for a curio cabinet. I told DH when we move I need a Disney room so I can just go nuts. I'm still reserved about my obsession in main living areas...you could say I'm a closet Disney freak who's slowly starting to creep out:lmao:

This is a sensitive subject for me. I had 2 jim shore cats that I was displaying in my dining room on a shelf. The cats were recently knowcked off of the shelf and broke. :sad1:

I would recommend that you put them in a very safe place.

Edited to add: I am going to look up that nurse minnie! I am an RN and that would be a great way to restart my collection.

I have more than a dozen of the Disney Jim Shore & I rotate most of them in & out (all but 3 are seasonal ones...Halloween, Xmas, etc.).

I display them on end tables, countertops, entertainment center....just about everywhere!

The kids gave me the Tinkerbelle birdhouse for Mother's Day. DH said it was too nice to hang outside, so it's hanging from the ceiling in my kitchen!

My Dh bought me the Minnie Nurse one for Mother's day too!! I am in nursing school as well. It seems like we both have pretty decent Dhs;)

I only have four Jim Shore pieces and I rotate them. I keep them on top of the pie safe in the dining room. I feel that this is the safest place for them since I have two-year-old twin boys that like to put their hands on anything and everything - and they can't reach the top of the pie safe. :thumbsup2

I love my Jim Shore pieces! I've bought all of mine on QVC - I didn't know they sell them at Hallmark stores - I'll have to check our local store out sometime. Thanks for the tip.

He's missed the mark a few times so I was due for a good gift:lmao: How much longer do you have in school? One year for me and I CAN'T WAIT!!! Just thinking of all the Disney vacation we'll be able to take....ahhhh:thumbsup2
