Hi All,
This might sound bad and ungrateful but I've tried everything I can to spend a gift card we got for our wedding. We tried buying something and then bringing it back, but instead of cash they gave us a gift card back.
The gift card is from Sears and I just tried to book my flight with them for October. No problem the sales person said. Here's your flight options...Air Canada (yes just what I wanted and paired up with my aeroplan freebie, I'm getting away with you know what)....but you can't book Air Canada or WestJet with a gift card. Ummm, what other airlines are there that serve Halifax? well there is Delta for $800.00 and then you can purchase your second $800.00 ticket instead of your Aeroplan ticket. Oh, so spend $1600.00 to save $350 when I can go on Air Canada or WestJet right now and book for less...hmmm.
I shouldn't complain as it was a generous gift but our local Sears is like Value Village (I'm not kidding!)
For fun, I'm asking for any creative suggestions that the dis community may have.
