OT - How do I get a wii fit????

Hi all! For months now I've been trying to get my hands on a wii fit and they're always sold out, no matter which store I visit. How have you gotten one? The salespeople always tell me that it's just a matter of being at the right place at the right time. Any suggestions?? I haven't been allowed to order it anywhere. Thanks so much!

I tried everything! The closest I got was a used one on Amazon.ca. Here's what I suggest... a rural Walmart. I kid you not. I live in Woodstock and never even saw a Wii in stock. But I tried the Walmart in Tillsonburg and they had both. This may not be the most "scientific" advice but it worked for me!

keep an eye out for toys r us fliers. there was a sale recently and the TRU in Markham had about 50 Wii fits. But I got it on the first day of the sale.

I just got one last week.

I signed up at consolewatch.com on Monday, had an email that Amazon.ca had them in stock Tuesday morning.

Ordered it from Amazon, Tuesday morning and they stated it would be shipped March 10-13. They had a free shipping offer as well.

It arrived Wednesday morning on my doorstep before 9am.

I love it.

I had previously tried consolewatch around Christmas, but always missed out on them.

I would give them a try.

I saw them in the Real Canadian Superstore flyer and I made sure that the morning that the flyer started I was in front of the store 40 minutes before store opening - and I wasn't even the first one there! There were more people in line than they had Wii Fits before the store even opened.
Good luck - it really is worth it.

I snagged 2 back in January-right place (Toys R Us-Oakville) right time (Saturday) Just happened to be there in the baby section and thought "While I'm here"...they were all sitting on a cart so must have not long been in?

ebgames is a good place to look.. especially around 1 pm on thursday they get their shipment then.. . U can call them and ask if they got some. save the drive

or look at a not busy Zellers.

I have been looking for months with no luck.... But last week while visiting my parents in Ontario I found one at the Costco in Barrie. Right place, right time. Good luck with your search. It is a lot of fun.

+1 for consolewatch.com ... sign up and it will email you when it finds an online retailer with it in stock. I've had mine since it came out and its collecting dust in the corner.
