in St. Pete's for March 6 to 12. Can anyone help we are a family of 6, we need a 2 bedroom at least. Looking for under $700US.

We are probably going to drive unless the price of rentals goes down for the period of the 7th to the 22nd. That way we'll save on airfare and car rental. With me being on Mat leave it really restricts us on our travel!!!

Thanks,

Marilynn

I know a company called Palm Tours that has condos in Florida/St. Petes area. I think they have a website and you may get a deal through them.

Good Luck

Have you tried doing a search on line for vacation homes in that area? We got an AMAZING Deal in Kissimmee...Try that out, you will have lots of options.

I've tried different sites for homes, not having much success. It's snowbird season, so that area raises their prices!

Give www.tug2.net a try - there's a last minute rentals section on their boards - you have to register, first, but it's free to do that:)

Do you know anyone that's a member of RCI? (Or maybe you don't have to be an RCI owner to take advantage of this, I'm not sure) Anyway, www.rci.com has a "Last Call" section that you can rent members accomodations that have cancelled at the last minute $199 and up - again, you may have to be a rci member/owner in order to do this, I don't know.. but it might be something you can try.

It never hurts to throw insome bids at www.skyauction.com , either - if there's something that catches your eye.

HTH! Let us know what you find:)

I think we found something on VRBO. It's a 3 bed for $550 for the week, taxes in. I'm just waiting to hear back and then my in-laws will do a drive by. It's about 20 mins from their place. We have March 12 to 19 booked in Indian Creek in Orlando. I can't wait! We bought Universal passes as we just can't afford Disney. We'll get to downtown Disney again!! :cool1:

Yay!

DTD is always our first "hit of the Magic"...we usually go there our first evening, and just walk, explore, duck the fountains, watch Tink and all the fairy friends flying in the sky overhead after dark, get our freebie bit of chocolate, use the fun smelling soaps and scrubs at Basin, and play Lego to our hearts content!!

*sigh*
Not long now!!
