OT-Help me find Tropical AI w 3 kids

Please help. Where can I take 2 adults and 3 young kids and stay in one room that won't bankrupt me? SO many places max out the rooms with 4 people. Thanks. Hopefully flying out of Moncton or Halifax.

Check out the Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana. It is a family resort w/ so much to do for the kids. We honeymooned there for 2 wks & would return w/ our DD in a heartbeat!
They have rooms that will accomodate your family.

If you are able to wait until the packages are in sell off mod, which can be several weeks in advance, then it usually is cheaper to book your kids as adults. Booking them as adults means you will have 2 rooms.

Unless the tour operator is having a sale on family/kids packages the kids will be charged at the regular price even if the adult pakcage is selling off.

I've been looking for next Jan/Feb. Two I've found in Jamaica are FDR and Beaches. I've heard great things about both from families that have been there but they're pretty expensive. Personally, unless they would guarantee me inside connecting doors, I wouldn't have two rooms with 3 young children. It means DH and I would have to be split and the kids would have to be split. Its not really my idea of a family vacation if we have to split up like that.

Wow! Thanks! I had no idea. Guess I was thinking of our resort in Mexico 7 years back. If that's the case, maybe I'll stop worrying about finding a place that'll take 3 kiddos for next year. I never even thought about booking them as adults.... I'm guessing that's only if there's a promotion right? Aren't kids usually free?
