Yeah....be prepared to give up control of the tv...you still get to hold the remote, but you dont get to decide what gets watched any longer...hope you like the disney channel 24 hrs a day...with occasional breaks to watch Animal Planet, and Nickelodeon

I've been forced to watch the Little Einsteins on Disney with my nephew more times than I can county. I guess that was some up and coming training...lol

HAHA...this is SO true.

April 20th @ 6:23 am.....early morning babies are the best!

Tax day April 15th at 4:20 am. It just isn't right if you don't have to stay up all night right off the bat.

According to my guess she should have had the baby a few hours ago so maybe that is the case and Chris of course has been too busy to let us know yet. ;)

lol, no she is not....

....however, she went to the doctors yesterday for her weekly checkup, and the doctor said "It looks like he'll probably be born in the next week to a week and a half.", so sometime around April 8th - 12th. My mom keeps on saying it's going to be a week from now, but we shall see. I know there are quite a few grandmothers and grandfathers who are chomping at the bit for their grandson to arrive....lol

Darn. Guess I will need to guess again. :rotfl:

Hope she is doing well. I would imagine she is ready to get it over with now. Good luck to you both!

I'll pick 4-08-08 at 4:08 pm

Wishing you both a healthy, happy baby, and a quick, easy delivery! :flower3:

I can beat that my last baby was born on 05-05-05. Not at 5:05 though the nurse tried to make me and I was ready but not the baby.

ok, Amanda, we have way too much in common! I have a cinco de mayo baby, too! Not '05, though....'99! :rotfl:

So how is the dw doing? I hope she is feeling well and strong. I know from experience that every pregnancy is different...so I hope she's had an "easy" one! The last month is the most uncomfortable and that nesting instinct...what a crazy behavior that is...:laundy:

Congrats and best of luck to you guys for a smooth delivery! (saying this early because I'm thinking we'll be at the Fort when the official announcement is made!!)

She's doing alright, the swelling has begun to take it's toll on her. This has definitely been the roughest month, she needs a lot more rest.

Although she still goes out for a walk (not just as long) almost every night, just a lot slower and a little bit more "waddling" (but don't tell her I said that....lol).

She is absolutely glowing still though, she's going to be a great mom! Oh yea, I hope I'll be a great dad as well! lol

my best wishes to you both and my sympathies to your poor swollen wife.

Dude! i am lucky that i was able to take a week or two off work BEFORE i had my daughter. i had cankels from hell. the swelling was so bad that i couldn't fit into any of my shoes. even flip flops - the straps over the top of my feet were cutting in. seriously. i looked like aunt marge from the third harry potter movie. We resorted to a cheapo pair of velcro strapped shower shoes just to get me back and forth from the doc appts and the hospital.

my first order of business after i delivered her and shed that water weight....a pedicure with some pretty polish for my tootsies.

good luck to you and tell her to hang in there...perfect strangers are sympathetic to her plight.

OMG I resemble that! My first was born July 31 and we went camping a couple weeks before she was born....in a tent.....on thin mats...... ok, I'm better now. Anyway, the photos from that trip make me want to cry. I had tree trunks for ankles! I swore I'd never be pregnant in the summer again!
