OT ~ Gardening advice pls ~ Mississauga, Ontario / Acton, Ontario

Hi All ~ We have a vacation trailer in Acton, Ontario. The site is mostly shady with birch, maple and cedar trees around. I put in a perenial garden beside the sunny side of the trailer last week. So far, so good.

I would like to line the back of the trailer with a perenial flower, plant or bush that grows approx. 3-4 feet high, likes the shade and easy to maintain. Any suggestions?

I would also like to make some sort of nature fence between me and my neighbours. Great neighbours! But good fences, make good neighbours too.

I was considering a vine over a handmade branch trellis....what are other options?

I love gardening but Hmmm shade plant-or shrub
well I know ferns like shade and lots of water -I got a new type this year home depot --tricolor two greens and a pink tint to it.
What about hostas there are some that get quite big --one I know is called elephant ears ---very large hosta.
Branch trellis are so beautiful and most clematis like them too.
Old barn wood makes a nice fence and is open but clearly defines the area also.

Please tell about your vacation trailer --I'm very interested for my family.

seasonal costs?
close to things ?
any play area for kids ?
pool or water near by?
Anything would be helpful as I know very little about this but want to learn.

seasonal ? May to Oct, but you can go up in the winter to check trailer
types of trailers allowed ? any type, one family there has a tent trailer
seasonal costs? about $2000 for everything
close to things ? Acton, Georgetown, Guelph, lots of conservation areas
any play area for kids ? two playgrounds and lots of space and trailers
pool or water near by? inground pool. Rockwood nearby
