OT-for those in IL, names of sport shops?

I'm hoping my neighbors to the south can help me out...I need the names of some local sport authority shops down in IL that sell Jerseys..I'm STILL on the hunt for Premier Jerseys and I'm trying to find the best deal...so I'm considering calling stores in IL and seeing how much it would cost for them to either ship it to my home or to a near by store here in WI...I really appreciate all the help...DBF is so picky and this is our first Christmas together so I want to make it perfect

There is a Sports Authority in Gurnee or Vernon Hills. You can go to their website and search for store locations in IL.

You could also try Dick's Sporting Goods. I'm sure there's got to be one of those in the Gurnee area as well.

Google your product and see what they recommend as retailers. Then go from there. I don't know your product so am not too much help.

Don't live in IL anymore, but there is a Dick's Sporting Goods in Rockford.

Dick's and sports Authority will probably only have the most popular players. Depending on whose jersey you want, you might do best online.

You should have no problem finding either one. I was at Dick's in Pleasant Prairie, WI yesterday and I they even have Bear's jerseys.

oh really? thank you for that info..i've called a bunch of stores in and near milwaukee but of course none of them carry Bears stuff..so thanks, i'll call them right now

I'm in a western suburb of Chicago and Hester and Urlacher along with Cutler are probably the easiest ones to find. Where in WI are you? The reason that I ask is that last year I gave DH two Bears jerseys (Payton and Ditka) that I bought from a vendor when we were at Cranberry Fest in Warrens, WI. They guy had a bunch of the old names as well as the current ones.

This year I had planned to buy him a Hawks jersey but the guy said that his supply hadn't come in yet (this was the end of Sept).

His prices were very reasonable. I still have his business card. He's in the Fox River Antique Mall in Appleton, WI. I don't know him so I have no personal interest in this but if you'd like his email address or phone# send me a PM and I'll get it to you.
