I've booked a getaway for DH & I at the Embassy Suites in Niagara Falls Ontario. Has anyone stayed there?

My husband and I have a weekend stay booked for the end of February. We have stayed there 2 times in the past. Once with our 2 boys, and once for a weekend getaway for the 2 of us.

The rooms are very big with lots of room. Beautiful view of the falls. We always book the Travelzoo package that includes $50 Keg voucher, breakfast and shuttle service. The Keg within the hotel has the best view of the falls for a restaurant. It is so amazing to sit and eat dinner overlooking the falls. I also like the valet parking. We park our car and take the hotel shuttle for the rest of the weekend.

If you have any specific questions I can try to answer them.

CJ, I have stayed there a bunch of times, the view is amazing and there is so much to do around there. They have a free made to order breakfast (or it might be the buffet, which is huge)It really is a beautiful hotel.
Enjoy

I'm glad it gets good reviews! A very specific question... during the "manager's reception" is the free pop in bottles or in cans? I drink a mixed drink and want to know if I can grab a couple cans of Coke or should just bring my own?

We have stayed there a few times and it is a great hotel!!

In answer to your question, they have fountain pop machines now (as of October anyway) and I think juice too. They have plastic cups and it just a self serve thing.

We were cheap and didn't want to pay for parking so we got a players card at the casino and parked there for free!! I know I know.:rolleyes1

Like they say on the buget board. Every dollar saved is a dollar towards Disney.

How much did the player's card cost, and how far is the casino from the hotel?

I believe it is $20 a day, not night...so when staying one night they told us if our car would be there 2 days it would be 20 per day. The players card is free but apparently they want to see that you have actually gambled with it in order to let you park for free. The casino is a 4 min walk
