very new to e-bay (buyer only , not a seller) and just won an auction. Not sure how to pay, since I can't pay through regular paypal method (from my credit card linked to my paypal acct.)

From ebay item listing:

I will accept personal checks with clearing time or money orders.

I can accept NO PAYPAL from CREDIT CARDS!!!! Paypal from EXISTING BALANCES or BANK TRANSFERS ONLY!!!!!!!!

I think it would be easiest to pay through paypal existing balance. But since I am not a seller there is 0.00 in my paypal acct. Can someone tell me how to put money from my credit card (the one that is linked to my paypal acct.) into my balance section of my paypal acct. And then I can pay from there.
Sorry so confusing.

You will need to link a saving or checking acct to your paypal acct and then transfer money from your checking/saving acct to your paypal acct. The seller isnb't accepting credit cards because he doesn't want to pay the fee paypal will chArge him for accepting funds from a credit card..

O thats a shame. So are you telling me that I can't transfer $ from my credit card to my paypal acct to create an existing balance. I don't have a US bank acct. so transferring $ from a bank acct. is not an option. I can't pay with a personal cheque since I don't have a US bank acct. Perhaps I will simply mail the seller a US $ order. What do you think??

Thanks

The only thing that you *could* do is set up a second Paypal account (set up one personal and one premier - it is allowed) and use your personal account to send money to your premier account, then you can send it to the seller. I'm not 100% certain if this is "allowed" but since Paypal collects their fees when you receive the money in your premier account (so be sure to send more than you need), I don't think that they care.

You could pay via www.bidpay.com

It is run by Western Union and for a fee (of course) they will send a Money Order. It is what I use when I have to send a Money Order.

Why can't you just put your bank account with paypal? I don't understand why people don't do this. To be honest I pay like that all the time.

I pay with my checking account thru paypal. I sell also so it uses those funds first and then automaticly transfers from my checking. No hassles

In case you didn't read further, the OP stated she couldn't sign up a checking acct since she does not have a US account.

I'm sorry i know nothing about paypal but a MO would be the easiest.

you can still hook up your own bank account. Paypal deals in all currencys, so when you make a payment it will convert canadian dollars into american dollars. It will show you the amount you are paying both in Canadian and American when you get to the pay screen. You do not need to have an account in the same currency as from someone you wish to purchase from.
