haaa! I am sure you don't want to make that mistake I am just glad I am not losing it. I know I tapped one person, and it opened another... A LOT!!

I've had my HTC Incredible for 8 months now and have not experienced this problem. I was originally on version 2.1 (Eclair) and upgraded to 2.2 (FroYo) but I will definitely be more aware now.

That could be embarrassing!

I have an iphone and one of my favourite websites is http://damnyouautocorrect.com/ where people post funny (and embarrassing auto corrections that their phone has done for them).

I guess it goes back to not putting anything into an email or text that you wouldn't want the world to read...

I had that happen and unfortunately sent a very inappropriate text to a co-worker. It was my fault though for not looking at the "To" before hitting the Send key. Thankfully, my co-worker was very understanding about it, although I was the butt end of quite a few jokes at the office..
