We are in the process of fundraising for the non profit 4 Paws for Ability to get a service dog for our son. I am going alone in Dec because I vowed the kids wouldn’t return. Haha! Instead....maybe we need a service dog!

You do know there are a lot of agencies that don't require you to pay for the dogs. I highly recommend Canine Companions for Independence (www.cci.org). They have a training center in Ohio if you are interested. The dogs are free. They do have a waiting list, and then you have to attend training and get matched to a dog. We have been puppy raisers for them for 18 years. (We raise in CA.) Good luck!

To make this a Disneyland post, Disneyland (or Team Anaheim) has raised a couple dogs for the Southwest region of Canine Companions, plus the backstage recycling funds are donated to CCI thru Disney VoluntEars. I love when Pluto comes to the SW Region graduations!
