Since I pretty much have the plans underway for our current Florida vacation (12/17-1/7), I am just starting to consider our next one.

I am thinking about flying to Fort Lauderdale and then taking a 5 hour cruise to the Bahamas with www.discoverycruise.com . With this cruise line you can stay as long as you want in the Bahamas and then cruise back. We were thinking about staying for 2 weeks at the all inclusive viva fortuna there and then cruise back to Fort Lauderdale. Then follow up with a week or so in Orlando. Then fly home from MCO.
My questions:
1. Has anyone ever heard of this cruise line and if so, what can you tell me about it? I wasn't very impressed with their web site. Having travelled the Caribbean to some extent, I found their prices VERY LOW so that worries me.
2. Is anyone familiar with the viva wyndham fortuna resort in the Bahamas? If so, what can you tell me about it?
3. Is anyone aware of any airlines that fly from BUF to the Bahamas? I could skip the cruise altogether and just go to the Bahamas perhaps.

In all honesty, I am not very interested in a longer cruise, just want to get to the Bahamas and back. Much more interested in lounging on the beach then cruising.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Suzy V.
