OT- crossing blue water bridge Canada Day weekend

Hi Everyone!
has anyone ever crossed the blue water bridge into the US CAnada day long weekend? We were thinking of taking an over night trip to Frankemuth on Saturday and thinking leaving early morning like 6am to be at border for 7. any thoughts? thanks so much!

Every day is different, and with the current construction it might change things - but usually if you are there before 9 the bridge is not too bad. Good luck!

Agreed with above. Earlier the better. However, coming home on Sunday could be an adventure. I imagine some people will be off Monday and take a long weekend that way. Hopefully not though - I work Monday so I will be in that traffic too!

Ya, hard to say. I live in Sarnia close to the bridge and it is different everyday, including holidays. I would suggest checking out the bluewater bridge website for bridge times.
