OT Cross Border Shopping?

We usually do a day trip to Buffalo (well Niagara Falls, NY) and do the outlet mall and then the Walden Galleria. I have heard though it is better to drive to Pennsylvania to shop to due to no tax on certain items. Where is the best place to shop (Is is Grove City, never been?) and I suppose stay (since I am assuming it is too far for a day trip). My girlfriends and I are planning a shopping weekend and want some advice on where to go. Thanks.

We go to Grove City 4-5 times a year. You can stay at the Hampton Inn in Grove City and book a suite with two Queen beds and a pull out sofa. Great for traveling with a group. Make sure you get the CAA discount.

We shop at: the Prime Outlets in Grove City, Tanger Outlets in Washington, PA just south of Pittsburgh, Walmart, Target, Kohls and Costco in Cranberry south of Grove City. You can also drive along HWY 19 from Cranberry to Ross Park Mall which is nicer than the Walden Galleria with stores like L.L. Bean and of course the Cheesecake Factory.

No tax on shoes or clothes makes an ideal trip for summer clothes and back to school.

I'm sure other people have their favorite stops but this works for us.

Don't forget that Walmart.com ships orders directly to the store and you can have an awesome deal waiting for you when you arrive if you time it right. You must use Paypal because they do not ship to Canada or accept Canadian addresses unless you use Paypal.
