Hello :sunny:

We just had a new women only gym open in our city and it is a Contours Express gym. It is a circuit gym, similar to Curves, but does not have hydraulic equipment, but real weights. Has anyone use them before? It sounds better to me than Curves, because I went to a gym similar to Curves and found it only did so much and then didn't really do much after that. I would think with real weights and being able to adjust them would be more beneficial. I'd love anyone's opinion or experience!!

Thanks
Kerri

I actually work at Curves and the way the hydrolics work is that the harder you push them the harder they resist. Curves works best if you GIVE IT YOUR ALL on the machines and slow it down on the recovery stations. At the end of the 30 seconds you should be dying to get off the machines. I see people day after day come in and not give it their all (me included :rotfl2: ) and wonder how come they are not seeing results. The Curves I work at change the machines around ever month so it changes up. And remember just because it was "similar to Curves" doesn't mean it is as good as Curves. I have lost 80 pounds with the "help" of Curves, and am glad I went.
