OT- Cars Die Cast Matchbox cars

Where are they??? We live in central Texas and can not find any of the Cars die cast matchbox cars! I have checked at every Target and Wal-Mart in the area and everyone of them is completely sold out. Does anyone know why they are sold out or where to find them (besides ebay)? Thanks for the help!

We bought packs of them at BJs Wholesale Club before Christmas. I did hear they were "hot" items. I am so glad we got ours early. I am sure there will be more but when, who knows. Did you check the Disney Store Online?

Walmart, Target and KB Toys are usually where we find ours. Walmart and Target usually don't have anything but we've found that if stop in a couple times a week eventually we will come across some.

This was before Christmas when they were probably getting constant shipments of toys, but I had great luck on Monday mornings at Wal-Mart. We have 2 Wal-Marts in our town and by hitting both of them Monday morning (my day off) I collected all of them.

Another place I had good luck was ToysRUs. Again, before Christmas...

We got Boost and Nitroade in DTD at the World of Disney in December. There were a few places here and there around the World that sold Cars but I remember being disappointed that there was not a huge selection.

Are you looking for the first couple of waves or the new waves? Most of the old ones (all that were released before Christmas) are being restocked. They're not selling for huge amounts on eBay anymore, so they shouldn't be too hard to find. Our Walmart just recently stocked up but the toy mgr. did say they're selling quick.

The new wave (released in January which is Mike and Sulley and Ferrari Fan Luigi and Guido) are still selling for 2-3 times their value on eBay so sellers are scooping them up, or your stores just haven't received them yet. I've been talking with our local Walmart toy mgr and he hasn't received any of the new wave yet. He thinks once the ones he has now sell out they'll send more. So...if that's the case and your Walmart is sold out, you should see them there pretty soon. The new ones will go fast, though.

Our KB Toys and TRU are both restocked with the older cars. Who are you looking for?

We can't even find the old ones around here. Several friends of mine and I were looking all over the place for them. We all live in different areas of the country. We ended up with doubles of some. I can't decided if I should just return them or do the eBay thing. The prices have gone way down though. So much so I think just breaking even could be difficult. PM me if you want some. I'll let you know what I have. They are yours for my cost plus shipping and PayPal fees.
