I'm looking at my budget and I don't think we can afford Disney this year. We only have about $1000 to last us a weeks vacation. There are 3 of us DH, me and DD turning 10. We are planning on taking the week of Sept 19 to 26. We live in NW Arkansas, so are thinking something only a few hours drive away. Maybe Kansas City, St. Louis or Dallas. If I could work it into my budget to do Disney I would, but I just don't think its possible. Any advice or recommendations. My DD loves to go to zoos, aquariums, and museums so this gives us lots of options of things to do.
