This is not my first SUV.
I buy them because
Number 1..I hate driving on icy roads ...HATE....I had an accident many years ago and in an instant the car can be out of your control and this gives me a bit more of a safe feeling. Though I do realize it too has it's limitations and I respect those.
Number 2..I have a daughter attending Queens in Kingston and at least 2x a year we hitch a U-haul and tow her belongings.Next September there will be another in Montreal.
Number 3..My hubby just will not let me have a small vehicle. Car accidents are a lot more severe than they used to be and he wants me to be on an 'equal playing field' with what's out there on our roads.The same goes for our daughters..they already know he insists upon a bigger vehicle as the small ones often serve as a coffin too.
That's just the way it is for our family.God Forbid any of us is in an accident...we hope to have lots of great General Motors metal around us!
