OT- Blue's Clue's with Steve (for those who liked him)

My DD4 loved BC with Steve. She likes Joe, but loved Steve. Anywho, we were on the Noggin website yesterday and they have these little music clips/videos and who popped up but Steve! His head is now shaved, but it was defiently him. He was siging with a band and played a wicked guitar! The song was about dirt and it was really cute. I saw him on the Today show about 4 years ago. He was talking about being in a band.

i saw him a few years back on an episode of Law and Order or some cop show....he played a leather clad goth druggie. it was so hard not to think steve was playing dress up....i guess that is why he quit when he did. didn't want to be thought of Steve for his entire career.

I saw him on Noggin! My DS 5 is a huge fan of Noggin(Upside Down Show, his 10 yr old brother thinks it's funny too).

Can't change the station after the last show(he watches while other does homework) until Moose A. Moose sings the Good Bye song.

I think his band is the flaming lips...? Or he plays with the Flaming Lips?

My son saw him on those little "music breaks" between shows, and knew he was Steve long before any adults in the room did!

I've read interviews with him (he even has a website), and he said one big reason he quit was that he was going bald. And he didn't want to go bald on a kid's show. I think he looks just fine, and since I'm very anti-Joe (and even more anti Blue's ROOM, ugh), I really wish he'd come back.

However, I DID like how they transitioned from Steve to Joe, with the Steve is going to college 3 parter.
