I am flying out of Buffalo this Friday. Does anyone have any experience crossing the border on previous occasions that could let me know what to expect?

DEPENDS ON WHAT TIME OF THE DAY. IF YOU HAVE EARLY FLIGHT I WOULD STAY OVER THE NIGHT BEFORE AT ONE OF THE HOTELS AND LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE. WE LIVE IN NOTL AND IF WE HAVE EARLY FLIGHT LIKE 8am KNOWING IT MIGHT BE BUSY OR BAD WEATHER, ITS FREE TO LEAVE YOUR CAR AT HOTEL IF YOU STAY THE NIGHT. ITS ABOUT $70 A WEEK AT AIRPORT SO FOR THE CONVEINENCE ITS BETTER TO PAY A LITTLE EXTRA FOR A ROOM AND PARK FREE. THE ONE WE STAY AT WILL SHUTTLE YOU TO AND FROM AIRPORT. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE PEACE BRIDGE!!!!!! IF YOU GO NIGHT BEFORE YOU CAN HAVE A RELAXING EVENING AND DINNER.

In the Sarnia newspaper last night there was notification that the Nexus lane of the Bluewater Bridge would be opening at 3 am and the currency exchange will be open all night Thursday night, so......I'm thinking they must expect the bridge to be extremely busy Friday morning and I'm sure it will be the same at any border crossing.

What time do you fly out? Many of the Black Friday deals are before 6 am so it might be more quiet later. I'd still plan on leaving extra, extra early! I know a ton of people planning to go over tomorrow to shop.
