OT Best electric multi speed tooth brush?

My Dentist has highly recommended I get a multi speed electric tooth brush

I'm looking for the best one for the money they are pricey I think I want multiple kinds of brushes if that is possible.

Have you had good results with yours?

I love my Philps Sonicare. I did get it as a Bzz Kit years ago, and I love it! I think it retails for $119. It sounds expensive, but it really cleans my teeth and the orthodontist recommended the same toothbrush for my sons braces.

I want to say something about Sonicares customer service. First the UV cleaner stopped working and DH called about repair and they gave us a whole new base unit for free. Somehow the new base unit didn't line up with the brush handle so we called again and got a new handle for free as well.

Sonicare is the best of the best. It is not the cheapest but it is by far the best. I am a dental hygienist and have seen first hand what happens in my patients mouths (gums and teeth) when they make the investment in their health.

It seems spendy but in comparison to the repair of gum disease or of the long term distruction ( dentures) it is really quiet affordable.

Sorry, but it is that good. (and important)

As a side note: the bacteria that takes over and causes gum disease also contributes to heart disease so that makes the investment even more valuable.

I bought this set from amazon and got it about a week ago. I LOVE it. there are a few different options for brush heads and a tongue cleaner.

I am on my second Sonicare toothbrush and I LOVE it. My first one lasted more than 4 years. Make sure to get the one with the 30-second quadrant timer so you spend the appropriate amount of time on each part of your mouth. I bought my first one on eBay but when it died I was too impatient to wait for eBay and bought one on sale at a local store.

I love love love my sonicare!!! I got it on the recommendation of my orthodontist when I had braces 5 years ago... and I still use it several times a day. I loved it so much and showed such great results (brighter smile), my parents now have one, my brother and his family, and my husband uses it too!!! Its GREAT!!!
