Vegas is not my kind of town (Im much more a family friendly - uh Disney - type of girl) but I have go to Vegas a couple of times a year on Business. Ive found two wonderful restaurants - rosemarys and Il Mulino at Caesars Palace. I thought I heard you mention that you have been to vegas recently - what is your favorite place to eat while out there?

We love Blueberry Hill for breakfast. It's basically a diner.

There are 4 or 5 of them, but we love the one on Decatur.

They have the BEST pancakes I have ever had in my life.

We also like something called Zuzu Crackers in the Wynn. They have terrific soup and sandwiches. Living in FL, we cant fint Manhattan Clam Chowder anywhere. They serve it here.

We also love the Carnegie Deli in the Mirage. Again, there is a dearth of pastrami in central FL. Dont get e wrong....they serve it....but it's not NY pastrami....AND they offer to put mayo on it.:scared1:

Just recently, we had reservations to dine at Rao's in Caesar's Palace, but had to cut our trip short and had to cancel that reservation. Next time.

Hope this helps.

Oh yeah....and I LOVE In and Out Burger.....but you have to eat inside. Wrapping it up "to go" changes the texture/taste. I'd kill for one right now.

If you're in the mood for Mexican try Border Grill at the Mandalay Bay. They mix a killer margarita!

Oh, we had lots of jokes about 'In and Out burger', we thought the name wasn't very inspiring! Never actually went in to taste though, so we can't judge. :lmao:

DH loves pancakes - we'll be sure to try this place on our next trip. Thx for sharing that Kevin! :thumbsup2

(Obviously I'm not Kevin but thought I'd share our finds in case anyone's interested...
We usually hit Peppermill for breakfast one day, on the strip near the Riviera, totally kitschy and its bar, Fireside Lounge, is classic funky 70s Vegas! :cool2:

For dinner, Red Square at Mandalay Bay. ) :goodvibes

cheers,
:flower3:

The best pancakes in the world are here in Pittsburgh. We have a local chain called Pamela's. The pancakes are thin, the size of a dinner plate and have crispy edges. People who don't like pancakes love Pamela's pancakes. When you come to see Fallingwater, make sure you go to Pamela's.

Is this another "My pancakes are better than your pancakes" thread? :rotfl2:

Come visit us in San Jose any time Kevin. In-n-Out is about 5 minutes from us. In fact just ate there a few days ago. Can't beat their burgers. People "in the know" eat them animal style.

I am in Las Vegas now and had Texas De Brazil. They opened one on the Las Vegas Strip. I also had IN-N-OUT BURGER. I love them.:lovestruc IN-N-OUT has been in southern California since the early 1940s. Them menus has been the same since they opened. Lucile's Is a great place for rib's. It is out at the mall across from Green Valley Ranch Casino. Bouchon is a great place for French Bistro food. It is at the Venetian.

Just to let you know that they have a Disney Outlet Store on the Strip. Most of the item's come from Disneyland.

Great thread:thumbsup2 I'll be in Vegas in Feb. for an OMG:scared1: we've turned 40 trip with my girl friends.

I drove by an In-N-Out Burger on our way back to the airport last weekend and wanted to stop so bad but my parents were antsy to be on our way home (I mean really, we only had three hours until we had to board the aircraft! LOL).

It's funny, I have two of them within five miles of me and I never think to go there. Love the burgers, hate the fries!

I ate at Rao's last month during my first trip to Vegas. I was attending a seminar and staying at Caesar's. My coworker and I went there our first evening. We both thought it was excellent, the best meal of our three nights.
