OT: Army Wives on Lifetime!!

I don't know if anyone has watched this show, but it has opened my eyes to a lot of the issues that "army wives/husbands" have to go through. It's a distraction, if you ever want an hour from the worry/stress. It's a great show, and a decent way to spend an hour!!

I've pretty much gotten hooked on that show, but I swear I end up crying during every show. I haven't decided how accurate the spouse stereotyping is, but it's entertaining so I'm not giving it a whole lot of thought.

I can relate to alot of it, but I have never heard the term "Jody" before this.

My hubby flipped to this show one night... which happened to be the first show. I am hooked! Even my hubby will watch it with me and if he misses it, he has me fill him in!

We lived on an AirForce base while he was active duty and so much of it is true........ brings back memories!

That is what I thought too..... but you know that the place isn't going to blow... how could it??? Most of the main people are there...

Talk about bringing back memories...my hubby was gone overseas when we lived in NC and we had a neighbor that was leaving her husband... they got into a fight one night, he left the house, she didn't feel safe there so came to my house, he was ticked she wasn't home and wanted to find her... we had SP's at my house and they were looking for him EVERYWHERE... they found him at the "wearhouse" where they have all the goodies to make bombs and such. He told them that he "was going to blow up the whole block since he couldn't find her" the real scary part is that he knew how to make bombs... that was part of his training. Thank goodness they found him and took him into the phy hospital... she moved back to her family and I don't know what ever happened... never heard more. But that was a nice Welcome to the AF!!!

BTW.......... does anyone know when the new season starts?? I can't wait!

How scary!! Glad they found him before damage was done!

And all I've found for next season is Spring, 2008, and my guess is May, after sweeps are done... But hopefully sooner!

I too am addicted Its my new guilty pleasure LOL. Since DH is a marine he told me I crossed the line LOL. I totally called (crap cant think of her name) the daughter being or almost being prego. Didnt see Joan being prego. Wonder how thats going to play out? I loved when Trevor and Roxy said there vows that was a tear jerker!
