OT- anyone live near Falfield Glos

This is very OT but was wondering if anyone knows this area, Falfield. We have been invited to a wedding down there and I would like to find a good hairdresser to do my hair the morning of the wedding. Also if anyone knows any hotels near that we could stay in. We are a family of 5 so fitting in is usually a real problem. We maybe able to stay where the wedding is being held but still trying to find out if they have big enough rooms.
I know I could look on the net but I have no idea of this area so what may seem nice and close to me could be miles away

Yes, we live very close-by, Natalie. Falfield is literally off junction 14 of the M5 and there is a big hotel right next to the exit called The Gables. Just up the road is The Park Hotel. I'm guessing the wedding is likely to be at one of these as Falfield is just a village. The nearest town is Thornbury, about 3-4 miles away. It has several hairdressers, but I don't know sufficient about any of them to recommend one. Reflections has a lot of branches around here.

Thanks the wedding is at eastwood park. We are really struggling to find a hotel room that sleeps 5 without paying for 2 rooms. As for hairdressers if I just look for one in thornbury i should be ok, if not I can always straighten my hair myself( just fancied someone else doing it for me)
