OT - Anyone know where to buy baby ink (for footprint) in Southern Ontario?

I checked with Toys 'R Us, but they only sell kits with other things that I don't need. All I want is the ink. I know I could probably order it online somewhere, but I'd like to just pick it up tomorrow. TIA!

How southern are you? Hobby Lobby has really great kids stamp pads but they are in the states. I know of the one in Port Huron.

As a last resort, hospitals have ink pads for doing the prints at birth... I bet if you asked really nicely, they'd tell you where they get them; or might even let you have/buy one...

I actually am a manager of a Michael's. In the scrapbooking section, there is a aisle of stamps and ink. Some of the inks are washable and they are safe for baby. Make sure to do it when Baby is asleep, they have a tendency to curl thier feet up and when they are sleeping its easier to get a good stamp.

The ones we use at work are called Mega Washable Stamp Pads. They are distributed by Marvel Education Co. New York. We order them from our craft supplier--usually a catalogue and we put in our order for paper, glue etc. You could try going online and glooking for this company. They are the greatest ink pads I've used and they wash off the babies feet very easily. Good luck

Thanks everyone. I did end up going to Michael's. A saleswoman strongly urged that I buy paint instead of ink, because the ink fades. I hope it works. Thanks for all the replies and info!
