OT: Anyone have a link....Canadian pet foods recall

Hi,

Apparently, a plant in Mississauga produces/imports 100 brands (products?) that are being pulled for safety. Any link to a list? Can only find US info.

They have discovered the source. It is due to a wheat gluten ingredient introduced at a plant in the US.

I no longer begrudge paying an inflated price for my pup's dry dog food that I buy at her vet's.

I would check the list no matter what pet food you buy as this company seems to be a major manufacturer in both the upscale, and lower scale market.

It looks like it was rat poison. I saw it posted on the CB.

I just saw the announcement about the rat poison (aminopterin, something that's no longer used for that purpose in North America). Think maybe that means sabotage? Oh that would be so despicable, to poison pet food...
